Our History

The journey began in 1989 when Mr. Harmeet Singh laid the foundation stone for Shiva Fasteners Pvt. Ltd. With a vision to revolutionize fastening solutions, the company steadily grew, leading to the establishment of Prem Polytex in 2004—a dedicated unit to manufacture export-quality zippers. It was here that GG Zippers was born, setting new benchmarks in the industry.

In 2010, Mr. Manpreet Singh took over the operations at Prem Polytex, marking the beginning of a rapid expansion phase. Within just two years, production capacity doubled, strengthening our presence in the market. By 2016, recognizing the growing demand from international markets, we set up a dedicated export division, taking GG Zippers to a global audience.

Our commitment to innovation and quality saw us double our production capacity once again in 2018, while also expanding our product line to include zipper sliders. In 2021, we further increased our capabilities by adding plastic and metal zippers to our portfolio, ensuring a diverse range of fastening solutions for various industries.

What started as a small venture in Meerut, India—now known as the Zipper Capital of India—has evolved into a globally trusted brand. Over the years, we have embraced cutting-edge technology, sustainable practices, and customer-driven innovations to redefine industry standards.
